About this gift
Everything a young explorer needs for a woodland adventure: a wild wolf bag, a large waterproof groundsheet illustrated with forest-floor treasures, a magnifying glass, an owl compass, and leaf-hunt and den-building cards. It turns an ordinary walk into an expedition.
Why we chose it
We chose it because it gets children outdoors and noticing things, with open-ended play that changes every time they use it.
When to give it
A wonderful birthday or Christmas gift for an outdoorsy 3 to 8 year old, and a good one from grandparents who love a woodland walk.
